Match of the Day — Season 13, Episode 2
Jimmy Hill introduces the first action of the new 1976-77 Football League season. Today's matches are the first of 42 played by each club to decide who will succeed Liverpool as League Champions. Also during the next nine months, Match of the Day will be searching for a successor to the 1975-76 Goal of the Season winner Gerry Francis, who receives his award on tonight's programme.
